Wow! Poor girl!

So this post is about my Mommy.... I feel so bad for her... This year so far has not been her year at all.. and she is such a sport about everything, she just says "well having bad luck is better than no luck at all..." she is funny. But most of you know that last December she feel on some ice while shoveling and cracked her pelvis.. the week she started her new job... so she was out for a while.. then of course a couple months ago she finds out she has breast cancer, but good news on that is, they got everything out and she doesn't have to do radiation or Chemo! Which is AMAZING! we are soo thankful for everyones prayers and thoughts.. moving on...Some of you know my Mom is Type A diabetic. she has had Diabetes since she was 5 years old and has been on insulin since then. she finally has the pump which is an amazing little devise.. well when my moms sugar goes low and she goes into what is a called a diabetic shock she has no control of anything. well Saturday morning at 4 in the morning she must have felt her sugar was low and got up (now she does not remember any of this so we are just assuming) and went into the kitchen to probably get some toast she always fixes toast when her sugar is low..well... My stepdad (who wears earplugs to bed so usually doesnt hear anything) heard her kinda scream and heard a thud... so he got up and my mom was passed out on the kitchen floor she was lucky she didnt hit her head or anything..next thing my mom remembers is her tasting some sugary stuff they keep in the house for times like these....and she realizes her foot hurts...well sure enough her foot was swollen and looked broken (from what my brother said, and thankfully he was there too).. anyway... She tried to get up on it and she said it hurt so bad.. so Steve Called the paramedics because of her sugar and he couldnt get her into the car..so they came checked it out.. said ya its broken bad....and sent her to the ER... I get a phone call at 5 in the morning says mom is in the hospital no worries she will be alright I'll call ya back.... well HELLO I was worried it's my MOMMY!!!... and then...I get another phone call about 40 min later saying exactly what happened and they were waiting for the surgeon to come look at the xrays.. sure enough she broke it.. not only in one place but 3!!! so now my mom has to have surgery on Tuesday and then off of her foot for 5 weeks! I feel so bad for her! She is such a trooper though! she doesnt seem to let anything get her down! but ya what a nice way to start the summer!
ok that is all... sorry no pictures this time.. maybe I will get some tomorrow! Plus an update on Chase soon too!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers day to all you wonderful Moms out there! Being a mom is such a great blessing, but such hard work! I remember thinking before I had Chase how easy it would be to raise a child.. ha ha boy was I wrong! However I wouldnt Change it for the world! I am truly am soo blessed to have such a wonderful little boy! And of course I have a wonderful MOMMY too! I really dont know were I would be with out her... My Mothers day was a blast! First off Friday the operator at work (she answers the main phone) told me I had flowers up front by the greeter...I was like me? I never get flowers.. and surprise surprise they were for me! My hubby decided to send me flowers to work! How sweet! (in the 3 years we have been together I have never received flowers) only because I kill them... too fast... lol.. But it was such a great surprise!.
Then Friday night my bestie Sam took me to Sugarland! Row 4 baby!... it was awesome.. pictures to come soon!.. Jason also got me a pandora bracelet from Morgan Jewelers that you can add charms too.. its adorable!... We then spent mothers day with my mom and also my stepmom. I just love having to spend Mothers day with 2 wonderful influences in my life! I am pretty lucky to have 2 mom's on my side!
Jason's mom lives in Salt lake so we dont see her much.. (thats another story!) Anywho I had a wonderful Mothers day! I hope every mother out there did too!

My flowers!... and my cute sugarland hat! LOL

Chase made me a mothers day card! It was soo cute!
The three of us!

Me and my Mommy!.. we matched that day! oh how funny! (we didnt plan it either!)

SuGaRLaNd!

My Best Friend Sam surprised me with Sugarland tickets this year! Row 4! We go to at least one or two concerts together and it is usually Kenny Chesney... and last year Sugarland cancelled and we were definitely bummed! So this year it definitely had to go! It was sooo much fun! Sugarland is one of my favorite bands! Danny Gokey opened up for them as well as Julianne Hough...
Danny did an okay job... he does have a good voice.. but that Julianne Hough is AMAZING! she has so much energy! she was running and jumping and dancing and brought so much energy! Anywho then Sugarland came on and well.. I only got a few pics because my camera died!!! RUDE!! LOL... after the concert was over we ran up to the stage and Christian Bush signed our cute sugarland hats! We tried to get Jennifer Nettles but she walked right past us.. of course we were screaming but she couldnt hear us.. the music was still playing and every other person was screaming her name too! Anywho it was still alot of fun!. so enjoy the pics!
Me and Sam just outside the building ready to go in!
DANNY GOKEY!
He got his cell phone out and asked everyone to text a number to help the flood in Nashville and also the ONEHEART foundation for his wife...

LOVE HER! She was soo good! I was actually surprised!
Our cute hats!
YUP! that close! barely had to zoom in my camera! and he looks like he posed for me!

This is right when my camera died.. but hey still got a good pic of the two of them!!!

mmmm...

Is this not the cutest picture.. I would have taken more but my camera died.....of course... I was making brownies the other day (even though they are against my diet!) and I had a little helper.. he thought the beaters were so funny!... then he wanted to lick the beater... It must be kids instinct to know that whatever is on there has to yummy! And I remember as a kid when my mom or grandma would make brownies or something yummy they would let me have a beater to lick! so hey why not! He thought it was the coolest thing ever.. and then I was his favorite for a few hours... then Daddy came home... LOL... on a side note you notice he isnt wearing his pants... well he thinks he doesnt need pants on somedays... weird weird child.....
