Happy 50th! Oma&Opa

This past weekend, (yes Easter weekend) It was Jason's Oma & Opa's (grandma&grandpa) 50th wedding anniversary! These two people are so amazing! They live in California so we dont get to see them that much..maybe every 6 months if that. They have decided they want to move to Utah! We are so excited! And to see that they still love eachother soooo much still is awesome! These two not only been married for 50 years, but together for longer. They make everyone feel like they are part of the family. They love Chase so much. And were very excited when we told them we are having another one.. Everyone wonders if Jason has some sort of hispanic/pacific islander gene, well here it is! They were born in Indonesia, and then I believe when they were teens, they migrated to Holland and lived there for a while, and then became US citizens, I am not sure when they came to California. They have such thick accents and sometimes I have a hard time understand them, but they also speak Dutch. So Oma will go off in Dutch about something. They make the most delicious Gaudo Gaudo (sp) and peanut sauce, and Oma's famous Eggrolls! Ok now I am getting hungry! I love these two! I cant wait for them to move here!!! Happy 50th Anniversary, I hope to be as happy as you two when we celebrate ours as well!

Happy Bday and other great news!

Oh my...its been a while, I have been slacking off majorly!! lets see what has been going on well on March 14th Chase turned 3! I cant believe he is 3!... It seriously seems like yesterday he was born! He has changed my life for the better! I wouldn't change anything! He is such a sweet boy! He cares for everyone, He loves everyone! He is soo smart! The morning of his birthday he got his favorite breakfast (eggo waffles) which is great I didnt have to cook anything!,. then we went to the Treehouse! we spent 2 1/2 hours there.... and h e didnt want to leave....of course...then we went and had lunch with daddy! and are going to dinner with the grandparents! and of course Auntie Lizzie, Joey and baby Parker he was very excited!

Also, my mom, (gramma debbie) took me and Chase to see Disney on Ice! Chase was super excited when he saw mickey mouse come out on the ice! He loves mickey mouse clubhouse! and Seeing his eyes light up when he saw all the characters was amazing! seriously got me teary eyed! lol... It was a very fun night!

More exciting news, Chase is going to be a big brother! Yes! We are having another baby in October! we are very excited...but I have been super sick, but it will be worth it in the end, working full time, being a mommy full time, and a wifey, definantly keeps me busy, thankfully my husband is so great and has been picking up on my slack...We don't know what we are having yet, but hopefully on the next appt we will be able to see something! Chase keeps telling me it is going to be a baby sister! so we will see! So that is why I have been slacking... I finally starting to feel better, lets hope I dont get sick again! That is the worst! I hope everyone has a fabulous Easter!

Randomness

As you can tell, not a whole lot has been going on at the Bergen house... Especially with the weather and me working full time kinda puts a damper on things... Chase does love his daycare/preschool though. he has many friends he says,... It's nice to know that he can get along with others, he only goes 3 days a week which isn't too bad...He is learning to count...infact he can count to 13...and he loves to show off...Now if I could only get him potty trained. that is the hardest thing so far, he isn't even the slightest interested in going potty like a big boy. hopefully by his 3rd birthday he will be potty trained..*fingers-crossed*.... The picture above is my favorite, he has been practicing doing the signature look for a while and he pretty much nailed it.. I couldn't be more proud! ha! So, so far, it has been a calm January....lets hope February will be more eventful!
Chase likes to take the cushions and make a fort out of them and blankets... here he is in the middle of them.. oh and his new thing is taking off his clothes....I dunno why...


And here is a picture my Hubby is proud of, this Kid is so smart, he can navigate my phone better then i can. I just love how he sits with his legs crossed, He loves gadgets..computers...games on the xbox you name it, he is all boy.....now I just need a girl..:)

Christmas and New years..

I am finally getting to posting about Christmas, and I'll throw in our New years stuff to.. but really we didn't do anything for New Years, Just hung out as a family, which was really fun and relaxing, anywho, Christmas turned out really great this year, but I am slacker and didn't get much pictures this year, Christmas morning when Chase woke up I told him Santa came to our house last night, and he said "NO Santa!" I then proceeded to tell him that Santa brought him Toys and Chocolate, then he decided it was worth getting out of bed, Santa left him quite a bit of stuff, he is really into Iron Man and as you can see, we are all Iron Man'd out!!! Once he saw his stocking and iron man stuff, he really got into it. We invited my Mom and Stepdad over for breakfast and presents, then we went to their house to finish up the presents. We then headed over to my Grandma's house, she basically forgot it was Christmas, and was wondering why we were there. quite sad actually, but all in all was fun!. We then headed over to my Dad's house around 1pm, Chase opened up his presents from them and he got a Elephant Pillow Pet ,he loves it.. and actually it is sooo soft!. ha ha... Sunday after Jason got off work we headed up to Kamas to see his family, and I didnt take one picture up there, I know Im horrible, we hardly get to see them and I forget to take pictures, Chase got spoiled up there as well, we did too Grandma Bergen gives us cans of tuna every year! (Im serious!) She is basically saying get your food storage going....its great next year we are going to be bringing bread and Jason's sister is going to bring Mayo... and we can have tuna sandwiches!! ha ha... anywho, we spent the night and we woke up to grandma making yummy french toast, (she has a special french toast reciepe, she puts cream cheese frosting in the middle of 2 slices and makes it that way! its delicious!) So that was our Christmas! It was so great to be able to see our family and friends! my friends spoiled me this year! I love you all! Sorry this blog is so dang long, but oh well!. as you can see in the pictures, New years was just us and it was fun! we played xbox kinect sports and stayed up all night! Im still trying to recoup... :) Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday!

Today Chase decided to put on his big boy underwear, it last about 2 hours and he had an accident and wanted a diaper on again... ugh... my goal is for him to be potty trained by his 3rd birthday! (which is in March!) wish me luck!

A little behind...

So I know I am a little behind... lets see November just went by way too quickly.. and so is December. Here is just a little bit of memories for the last 2 months... Ill post Christmas later...Im tired....

And this just sums up our December... crazy...scary....tired...you name it.... Chase Loves Santa, just from afar....ha ha... Jan will be starting a whole new world for us... Jason is putting his 2 week notice in tomorrow and will start his new Job in January! Lets just hope it all goes well!

Halloween

I a bit behind...I know, Halloween was fun this year! Chase was a dinosaur, but on actual halloween, we went trick or treating at families he would not wear his costume, and he wanted to take Buzz Lightyear everywhere with him, so I called him Andy from Toy Story, Anyways, at work we dress up, and i was so impressed with everyones halloween costumes!!! We all look awesome! I looked horrible ha ha.. I dressed up as a 80's girl, I cant believe i found half of the stuff for my costume, Jason was an 80's rocker, he looked pretty amazing!!! ha ha... Hope everyone had a fun halloween!
