Introducing....

warning: this post is LONG!

I would finally like to introduce the newest member to our Family!

CADE ALEXANDER BERGEN!
Cade was born on October 24th, at 12:26 a.m. and weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long!

Isn't he oh so cute! I just love him! He is definantly a mini Chase, but at the same time as his own little look. We couldn't be more excited that he is finally here! Chase has been really good with him as well... He wants to hold him all the time, love on him, give him hugs and kisses, so far there hasnt been any jealousy (granted its only been a week!)

I decided to blog about his birth, since this is kinda like a journal for me. So sorry if you dont want to read about it, I guess just skip this step...LOL..

So after a week of having constant contractions (well what I thought was constant enough) I decided Sunday the 23rd I was going to go to the hospital regardless, I waited till about 12 pm to go, I just couldnt stand it anymore, My back was killing me, I was onry (my poor hubby) and I was just done! I was almost to my due date, infact it was just a few days away. I for sure thought I was dialted to something! So we get up to the Hospital, and while I was in the parking lot I looked at Jason, and was like we should just go home, they arent going to keep me, he said, no were up here, let's just see what they say..so we check in, the nurse takes me back in the room to observe my contractions and blah blah blah...
She checks me, she says I am dialted a 1+.. what!! Only a 1! She told me she would call the Dr adn see what he says, come to find out my dr was out of town so she had to call his partner, she told me before she left the room, she could tell I was in pain, so she would sweet talk him...So when she came back she said okay what we need to do is have you walk around the hospital, she showed me a position to stand in so the baby would drop out of my back, for at least an hour or two, she came back after a little while, and admitted me in my room, and was going to start me on the PIT but a much slower pace, since my Dr would be back in town ina few hours.

So then at around 5pm my wonderful Dr, (Dr Davis by the way, who is awesome!) came in and broke my water! now I havent had the epidural yet so it hurt so bad! It literally took him 20 min to break my water, he said I had a bag of Steel! oh ya! he checked me and I was still a 1+, argh!
they uped the PIT and sure enough the contractions really started coming! I was soon a 3 and wanted my epidural! I was teasing the anesteologist that last time with Chase it took him 4 times to get it, he was pretty cocky and said oh no that wont happen...it took him at least 3 times and then about a hour later, he had to come back in, because it stopped working completly.. so by the 4th time it worked wonders! he told me I jinxed him..
So soon enough I started dialated pretty quickly, and about midnight they started bringing in all of the stuff, and my Dr showed up and told me he was ready, so within 3 contractions Cade finally made his arrival...and I swear as soon as he was out I felt soo much better! I could actually breath! and I could tell he was a big baby..My dr guessed 7 1/2 pounds, he was pretty close, when they told me how much he weighed I was like no wonder why I was in so much pain! When your short like me its hard to carry a big baby! Anyways thats the story, sorry if I bored anyone... I will share some pics now,

Yup...

Still no baby! I went to the Dr today, and I was still the same as the last 3 weeks or so! so frustrating! I'm really depressed now, because my Dr informed me since I am not dialating he will NOT start me on the 20th....He says he doesnt want to take a chance of me having a C-section and other complications. so he convinced me not to get started. Im still having contractions, (just the stupid braxton hicks apparantly) and so he says if I get them close enough like 5 to 7 min apart to go up to the hospital he wont turn me away basically....I would rather go on my own anyway then have to get started...I just thought I would have gone by now! and who knows maybe tonight my water will break and Ill go in labor (fingers crossed).. I guess I just have a comfy home right now for the Baby.... That is all..

October already!?

Yahoo! I cant tell you enough how excited I am that it's finally October! Baby Bergen #2 should be here soon! If I don't go on my own, the Dr said he will start me on the 20th. I have a feeling I will go earlier though! Lets hope this week! I am really shooting for the 12th, reasoning why, its my Brother Cory's b day.. and what a special day that would be! (he is my bro that passed away 3 years ago) I have been having contractions all day today so lets hope I am progressing! because I cannot go to the Dr being disappointed! ha ha... we shall See...We still have not come up with a name, we have a couple we have in mind, I think we will wait and see what he looks like, and then decide...
the two names we like are Cade & Alex. which do you like better?? Anywho...That is all... I should have done some maternity pics but I just don't care right now...I'm sure Ill regret it later...I will keep everyone posted!!!! Have a good week! or month...whenever I get back on here!

Oh and Happy Anniversary to my love! on Oct 4th we celebrated 4 years of happily marriage bliss!!! to many many more to come!!!! Love you babe!

Steamboat!

We went up to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with my Mom and Stepdad Steve. What a fun experience that was! We went hiking (not the hardest hike, but being preggo made it difficult!)
Here are some pics, my camera has been giving me issues, so I dont have alot... (hopefully I dont have to buy a new one!, Im too attached to it, its been by my side for 6 long years!) Anywho.. here are the pics...enjoy! Also baby update, I went to my Dr two weeks ago, he said I am measuring a week ahead so thats fun! I go again today! Cant believe I am at my every 2 weeks appointments already! 8 more weeks to go! yay!

Summer Time!

We went to the park Yesterday, had a picnic and let the kiddos play. they had a blast. It wasnt
to hot either. We went with my 2 best friends, Sara and Sam, and their kids, Holland and Court, All our kids are the same age, about 3 months apart from each other. They get along great (for the most part, for 3 year olds!) Chase had a blast, probably because i have been selfish this summer so far and stayed indoors were its cool, but I also work full time so its hard to go do stuff. So usually we do stuff on Sundays. Here are just a couple of pics...

Grandma Turns 80!

Happy 80th Birthday (on June 5th) to my wonderful funny grandma Taylor! We decided that we should have a big shin dig for her, invite her neighbors, past friends and such to this, it was open house style of course. but we had a lot of fun! and Yummy food! Grandma Silly as what Chase calls her, now lives in an assisted living, the Dr told her she couldnt live alone anymore, she has dementia and forgets everything! she is such a wonderful person though! She is having a hard time not realizing why she cant go home, and probably calls my Mom, and her brothers everyday even 2 or 3 times a day wondering why she cant go home. It is sad. We still love her to pieces though! And I was horrible and didnt take very good pics that day.. too much going on. so here are a few! and Happy Birthday Grandma silly!

yes we are having Another little BOY!! We are so excited! Chase will be such a great big brother to his little brother!

Baby update and birfday!

I noticed I never really have posted anything about being pregnant..just announcing it. I am 21 weeks right now. and feeling great...well most days, I still have some morning sickness..but what can ya do right?! I went to have my target ultrasound today and the baby looks fantastic! I got to find out what we are having and I cant be more excited. we were hoping for a girl, because we want to be done having kids, but I have always wanted 2 boys. So I was super happy with either one!
so.. here are some pics of the baby! Guess what we are having! ha ha...
I think the 3d 4d pictures are amazing! The Dr I had when I was preggo with Chase never did 3D at all, in fact I hardly got any pics of him from the ultrasound...So I was super happy with my new Dr. (I go to circle of life now) (who doesnt now adays! they are awesome!) he makes sure I get everything I want in a visit! The first pic is of the Babies Face sucking its arm. and the second is the whole body side...profile wise, and the last is its little legs! The funny thing is, Chase always had his legs crossed too! Anywho.. so my idea of how to tell people what we are having, is I am making MINI CUPCAKES and in the middle put frosting in them, and color them pink or blue... Ill let you know how it turns out!

I also had my birthday last week. I cant believe I am 27.. its so much closer to 30...Dunno why I am so scared to turn 30...I guess its just because that means I am really a grown up... It seems like just yesterday I turned 16 and ready for highschool, and now that my 10 year reunion is coming up next year.. its just crazy! Anywho.. Jason took me to tucanos for dinner with a couple of our friends, and then on Saturday he suprised me with a party... it was fun. I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life! I am very blessed! I didnt take much pics on my bday, I have been slacking in that area....bad... I must get back on it! especially with the new baby coming!. Anywho... this has been a really long post I apologize! Here is one or two pics from my bday!

And then there is May....

So Chase and I got Haircuts (finally!) I love mine, it doesnt take me that long to do, and it seems like I actually style it now... My long hair was driving me crazy! My pic is somewhere in this pic mess.. (again I dont feel like fixing it) At least I am updating right! first pic my little photographer...the second one, well this is when I dont want to claim them.. ha ha kidding.. he was throwing a fit because I took the camera away for a second....he such a sweet boy I promise..:)

We were all eating, and Chase excused himself from the dinner table to well I thought was to go play but he didnt make it very far! he passed out... poor boy.. he was tired...

so I had my Dr appt on Monday the 23rd, we were excited because we were finding out what we are having! Well the Dr, just kept saying hmm...hmm...hm... until I finally just said well.....does the Hmm... mean I have 2? or what! and he said no, there is a shadow that is from the femur bone, that is causing me not to be able to tell what your having! So in my 2 pictures I got, one pic looks like girl, one looks like boy... so we really dont know!!! Seriously! I just want to know if I can go buy a pink or blue outfit! It's killing me! oh well next appt is my Target Ultrasound and so hopefully we will be able to tell.. but thats not until June 17th! aahh.. .the agony! Oh well.. the baby looks healthy and thats all that matters right now..(I guess :)) hope everyone had a wonderful May! It went by way to quickly!
